Our esteemed former captain and wicket keeper, it is unknown whether his true heart lies in Lancashire or Yorkshire [Lancashire, Ed]. Either way, he is a steady right hand batsman whose recent impressive run scoring exploits can be found engraved on the back of his trusty blade. Of course when I say recent, I mean a 92 not out from 1996 [actually it’s 102* from 2003, but point taken, Ed].
