David has had an impressive few years with the bat although his ‘shot putting’ technique of getting the ball in from the boundary is somewhat questionable. It is however his celebrations after catches where is performance really excels. The story of the time he ran across the wicket, the outfield, the car park, the adjacent road and a nearby park to celebrate a regulation catch of a 14 year old has been somewhat blown out of proportion.
